It should be clear to you that you would not have clicked on the link “Life without Rejection,” if you were not looking for help. This book has help for you. It is available at Barnes and Noble as well as amazon.com ( kindle or hard copy). But my purpose here is not just to sell books. I want to tell you something about rejection.
“And what do you think you can tell ME about rejection?” might be what you are saying. But you clicked on the link.
Rejection is very common. Do a search for itmon google and see. There are psychologists who explain rejection, socicologists who study the demographics of rejection, authors who tell you their experiences with rejection (presumably so you will never give up), etc.
There is even a Rejection Hot Line. My first thought would be you call and they hang up on you. But no, it’s worse than that. It’s a number you can buy to give to creeps you meet in bars so that when they call you they get rejection messages. So back to high school where a certain type of person felt rejection was funny? Those people still bother me.
Rejection is as common it the church as it is in the world. My ministry is to those under rejection, and I have had this ministry for 30 years or so. It has taken many forms, but mostly I have worked in substance abuse groups in the church. I have always worked in Christian settings. Is this a surprise? That people who know Christ and have had a life-changing experience with Him should suffer from rejection? Until this book was published, since site the first edition was housed on went down–about 10 years ago, I have had to minister one-to-one.
That is why God gave me this ministry, after He healed me of rejection. This healing rewrote my life.
If you suffer from rejection, this book is for you. It has always been for you, since th first edition, which was online for many years, first on the long and now long gone geocities website, and then on my own site. I got millions of hits from many people looking for help. I got many emails also, probably from some of you.
You asked me to write a book. It took many years to do it. I am sorry, but everything I write takes a long time.
What is rejection?
It is not a thing but a symtpom of how we view life in the world and how we see others seeing us. Proverbs 29:25 says: “The fear of man brings mokesh (a snare, a trap).” This bondage is rejection. We fear what others will do to us. Most of all, we fear what others think of us. This fear has dominated our lives. We have spent our lives finding ways to cope. I know. I was there.
But this is not God’s will for us. He has a plan for our deliverance. Buy the book. It spells out the three step process: forgiveness, deliverance, healing.
Right here at Church of the Outcasts, we will be with you in this journey. Call or email. I am waiting to pray with you.
